Smiley Burnette Photographs
Scope and Contents
The Smiley Burnette Photographs consists of five photographs of the actor, four are from acting roles and one is of Burnette at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. The collection also contains a biography sheet, a brochure, and a mailing envelope. The photographs have been digitized and are available to view through the DRC's online image database.

Lester Alvin “Smiley” Burnette was an actor and performer from 1934-1967. He is best known for his roles in western movies and radio programs alongside Gene Autry, as well as being a series regular on the television show Petticoat Junction in the 1960s
