Abstract
The Photographic Study Collection is an artificially created collection containing an estimated 2,050 photographs. It encompasses the history of photographic processes, and contains photographs in various formats, including tintypes, daguerreotypes, cabinet cards, carte de visite, silver gelatin print, and others. These photographs were either purchased by or gifted to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in small lots and were amassed into a centralized location over the years....
